Dyer has been crowned a national winner at the prestigious Made in the UK Awards, held in Liverpool on 19th June. The company secured the top prize in the Manufacturing Future Talent category and was also Highly Commended in the Digital Engineering category, cementing its position as one of the UK’s most forward thinking manufacturers.
The Made in the UK Awards bring together winners from nine regional Made in competitions to celebrate the best of British manufacturing. The event, attended by leading SMEs and major manufacturers from across the country, is one of the largest and most respected in the industry.
The Manufacturing Future Talent award recognises Dyer Engineering’s commitment to developing people through its award winning apprenticeship programme, and a growing culture of mentorship and internal progression.
The company was also Highly Commended for Digital Engineering, acknowledging a three year journey of process transformation, data led decision making, and continuous innovation which has delivered measurable gains in efficiency and productivity.
This national recognition follows Dyer’s double win at the Made in the North East Awards earlier this year.
