Dyer Welcomes Rachel Skeoch as Marketing Director

Dyer is pleased to announce the appointment of Rachel Skeoch as Marketing Director, joining the company’s Senior Leadership Team from November.

The appointment supports our ambitious five-year growth strategy, which focuses on expanding market reach, strengthening brand visibility and deepening relationships with customers and partners across our key industries.

Rachel will lead our marketing, communications and brand strategy, ensuring the business continues to be recognised as a trusted engineering partner to global clients. Her role will centre on building brand strength, supporting business growth and highlighting our capabilities across critical sectors including energy, rail and defence.

With over a decade of industry experience, Rachel has held senior marketing roles at leading regional firms and also co-leads the North East’s first dedicated initiative for Women in Manufacturing and Engineering.

Speaking about her appointment, Rachel said: “Having worked closely with the team over the past year and a half, I’ve seen first-hand the talent, ambition and potential within Dyer. It’s an exciting time to join the business, and I’m looking forward to helping shape the next phase of its journey.”

Adam Leggett, Managing Director of Dyer, added: “We’re really pleased to welcome Rachel to the team. She’s already made a strong impact on how we communicate and position the business, and her experience will play a key role as we continue to build our brand and deliver on our growth plans.”

As part of its five-year growth plan, Dyer is investing multi-millions in people, facilities and machinery to stay competitive in an evolving market. Central to this strategy are the company’s SST Principles, a commitment to apprenticeships, digital technology and continuous improvement, ensuring the next generation of engineers are supported and developed.
